Hybrid & Livestream Event Production in Houston
Next Audio Visual Productions (NAVP) streams, records and runs hybrid corporate events in Houston, from a single-camera board meeting on Zoom to a multi-week virtual conference. Every NAVP system is built with streaming capability, so remote attendees, remote speakers and recordings are handled by the same production team that runs the room.
NAVP is a Houston-based corporate AV production company, founded in 2016, that produces conferences, general sessions and energy-sector events for B2B clients.

What kinds of hybrid and virtual events does NAVP produce?
NAVP produces three formats: hybrid events with an in-person audience and remote viewers or speakers, fully virtual events run from a streaming setup, and in-room events with a feed sent to overflow rooms or remote screens.
| Format | What it looks like | NAVP example |
|---|---|---|
| Hybrid meeting | An in-person session streamed to remote attendees, with remote presenters brought onto the house screens | JDC Empowers Realtors speaker event |
| Virtual conference | Webinar sessions run on Zoom or another platform, with presentation management and recording | Algae Biomass Summit 2022 |
| Overflow and remote screens | The main program fed live to a second room or to screens around a venue | Nabors Pregame Conference at Historic Union Station; Whataburger social media wall |
Which hybrid and streaming events has NAVP produced?
- Algae Biomass Summit (October 3–27, 2022), fully virtual. NAVP’s production team ran 16 days of live Zoom webinars: two plenary days and 14 days of technical sessions, two sessions a day. NAVP set up a speaker portal for presenters to upload their slides, checked every file’s format, reported missing uploads to the organizers before each session, and had a technician ready an hour before each start. Every session was screen-shared from the uploaded presentations and recorded so the organizers could reuse it.
- JDC Empowers Realtors speaker event. A live in-theater program with both in-person and remote speakers and an audience Q&A. Remote presenters joined over Zoom and were brought into NAVP’s Blackmagic Design ATEM switchers, which controlled both the incoming remote signals and the house screen feed.
- Whataburger social media wall. Live social media messages from the client were sent through NAVP’s streaming and switching system to a large LED wall, and a stream over YouTube fed three remote monitors that received the signal wirelessly.
- Nabors Pregame Conference (May 5, 2022), Historic Union Station at Daikin Park. A Blackmagic Streaming Bridge carried the program from the Historic Union Station stage to the existing screens in The Depot, so guests in the second space saw the same show.

What equipment does NAVP use for streaming?
NAVP streams with its own broadcast-quality Blackmagic Design switching, recording and encoding equipment, plus a green screen and studio lighting, so the stream and the room run from the same system.
| Area | NAVP-owned equipment |
|---|---|
| Switching | Blackmagic Design ATEM 2 M/E Constellation HD, ATEM 1 M/E Production Studio 4K and ATEM Mini Pro and Extreme ISO switchers, with SKAARHOJ hardware control |
| Streaming and encoding | ATEM Mini Pro ISO built-in streaming, Blackmagic Web Presenter HD, Streaming Bridge and UltraStudio 4K Mini for platforms such as Zoom and YouTube |
| Recording | Blackmagic HyperDeck recorders and ISO recording on the ATEM Mini switchers, for program and individual camera files |
| Cameras | 4K and 20x–30x zoom PTZ cameras with hardware controllers, plus manned camera packages for larger shows |
| Studio and presenter capture | A green screen and studio lighting for recording presenters, pre-recorded segments and remote-speaker shots with a clean, broadcast-quality look |
| Audio | Shure wireless microphones and Behringer X32 and QSC digital mixers |
| Network | Dedicated routers and PoE network switches, plus wireless HDMI links for remote displays |
What is the smallest hybrid setup NAVP offers?
NAVP’s basic hybrid meeting package is one PTZ camera, a streaming switcher and encoder, a presentation laptop, a second laptop running the streaming platform such as Zoom, an audio mixer, a wireless lavalier microphone and one technician. It suits a board meeting, a lunch-and-learn or a single speaker in a private club or hotel meeting room.
Can remote speakers present live to an in-person audience?
Yes. NAVP brings remote speakers in over Zoom and switches them onto the house screens through the same Blackmagic ATEM switcher that handles slides and cameras, so a remote presenter appears on stage the same way an in-room presenter does. Remote speakers can also take part in a live Q&A.
How does NAVP handle presentations for a virtual conference?
NAVP collects every presentation before the event through a speaker portal, checks each file’s format, and tells the organizers who has not uploaded yet. On the day, a technician is ready an hour before the session and screen-shares each presentation from the uploaded files, so speakers do not have to share their own screens.
Are streamed sessions recorded?
Yes. NAVP records sessions while it streams, using HyperDeck recorders or ISO recording on the switcher, so organizers can reuse the content after the event. For the 2022 Algae Biomass Summit, every plenary and technical session was recorded for reuse.
What does NAVP need to quote a hybrid or virtual event?
NAVP needs the date, the venue or whether the event is fully virtual, the number of sessions and days, the streaming platform, and whether remote speakers will present. Send them through the Request a Quote form, or call (832) 427-9584. Typical cost ranges are on the FAQ page.
